I began uploading clips into my online editing software. Originally I was going to use another editing software, but it was strictly mobile. So I decided to save myself the eye strain and go with another I had used before. I usually flip flop between the two depending on the project. I decided to work by uploading the clips in three parts and then adjusting their length before uploading more. This is so I can set a pace instead of trying to fix everything at once. Also so I can work out the full time stamp needed. Then build off of it however I would like. I adjusted the lengths with transitions in mind. Adding transitions increases the length of the video. For this reason I limited my clips to ten seconds a piece maximum. Those that were higher were cut down, and those that were lower I used the remainder of the ten to account for transitions. After more refinement my ultimate goal is to have a finished product within the right timeframe that has good pacing and editing. Even as I am editing I try to account for things that could make the project better. For now I am editing without the audio. I will add it in later. My goal is to focus on one thing at a time and perfect it to the best of my abilities. I will then move on to the next editing tidbit and do the same. Establishing a routine this way helps me to remain focused and organized, while also making me aware of time. For now I will leave you with a screenshot I took when I first began editing.
