Planning for Final Task: Storyboard
The storyboard begins with a close-up of the main character sleeping. Her alarm goes off and when she opens her eyes music begins to play. It then cuts to the bathroom. The camera pans up from the mat in front of the shower as the music plays and the studio title is then shown in the center. It then cuts again to a mid-shot of the bathroom sink and mirror and the production company title is shown. The main character, Mac, then walks up to the mirror in an over the shoulder shot after the title goes away and begins to brush her teeth while making a face at herself in the mirror. In the next scene there is an establishing shot of the kitchen and the title of the movie is displayed in the center. It then cuts to Mac attempting to catch food in her mouth from two different angles.
The camera then cuts to a mid-shot of Mac in the kitchen, looking at and talking to the camera. The camera then pans to Mac's homework assignment on the table. And then cuts to a long-shot of Mac sitting at the table attempting to do her homework while consistently checking the time before pausing to talk to the camera. After this, the camera cuts to the night before and shows Mac in her living room laying around and throwing a ball. The next slide shows Mac later on that night dancing around room and then cuts to Mac trying on different clothes while looking in the mirror.
The next scene is Mac in her kitchen again, however it is still the night before, and she is cooking something on the stove. The non-diegetic music stops as she yells to her mother about seasonings before the camera then cuts to her back at the table with her homework the next day. She talks to the camera again before the scene cuts to the next. In the next scene she packs up her things before walking away from the table. The executive producer and producer title is shown as she does this. The camera then cuts to her outside leaving her house and the music begins to play again. The story by title is shown as this happens. The next scene is a shot of her surroundings but not of her and the written by title is shown. The screen then goes black and the directed by title is shown. The opening sequence ends.
These are extra scene sequences that may be added depending on the amount of footage I end up having:
