Filming and Editing Blog
I did not start filming yet. This is because after some thinking I decided there were some things I needed in order to help my process. I knew that I would need something to attach my camera to since I would be doing this alone. I also knew that I would need some type of extra lighting just in case I wanted to shoot in a particular place or at a time where it was lacking.. Because of this, I ended up getting a tripod. I also ended up getting a light attachment which I can clip onto my camera and use. Upon getting these items I immediately opened them and put them together. I wanted to get a feel for how they work. And I also wanted to at least acquaint myself with their features. For the tripod, I learned how far it can extend. I also learned to what extent I can rotate the attachment smoothly before reaching resistance. I noticed that it was not super tall. So in order to utilize it for close-ups or mid-shots I will most likely have to find some type of support. I also noticed that with the clip on light attachment there were three settings. Each one increasingly stronger than the one before it. I also noticed that it was rechargeable and not a battery changeable type of item so I took note that I would have to be aware of how long I am using it in order to get the most out of the battery and my time. Other factors I took into consideration are the costumes and make-up. I picked out what I would wear and for which scenes. I also decided on whether or not makeup would be an essential role. All of these things will help me when I do finally begin to film. For now, here is an example of what my tripod looks like.
