Sound Script 

Scene 1

- No dialogue

Scene 2

- No dialogue.

Scene 3

 - Mac : "You know that feeling when you realize you're royally screwed ? Yeah, I just got it."

Scene 4

 - No dialogue.

Scene 5

- Mac: " To be fair, I had a pretty rough night last night. I mean, I was too busy avoiding my homework . "

- Mac: "You'd be amazed about the things you can accomplish when procrastination is your motivator."

Scene 6

- No dialogue.

Scene 7

- No dialogue. 

Scene 8

-  Mac: "Mom! Have you seen the seasoning?!"

Scene 9

- Mac: " I find myself in a dilemma, but fear not. I have a plan."

Scene 10

- No dialogue.

Scene 11

No dialogue. 


Shooting Script 

Scene 1

- Immediately opens to close-up of Mac in her bed sleeping. The camera begins to zoom out.

- Mac's alarm goes off and she gets out of bed. 

 - Non-diegetic sound: upbeat song begins to play.

-She begins to search for clothing to change into.

Scene 2

- Mac is now in the bathroom taking a shower. 

- Th scene cuts to Mac brushing her teeth. 

-There is an over the shoulder shot of her looking into the mirror 

Scene 3

- Mac is now in the kitchen making food. 

- She tries to throw some in the air and catch it in her mouth. 

-  The scene cuts to a different angle. (Action match)

-Non-diegetic sound: upbeat song stops. 

- Mac looks at the camera. 

- Diegetic sound: Mac begins to talk to the camera.

Scene 4

- Camera pans from Mac to Mac's homework assignment sitting on the table.

Scene 5

-  Camera cuts to a a long shot of Mac sitting at a table furiously typing and constantly checking the time.

Diegetic sound: Mac talks to the camera. 

Scene 6

-  Non-diegetic sound: upbeat music begins to play.

-  Mac is shown throwing a ball while laying down in the living room.

Scene 7

- Mac is shown dancing around her room. The camera then pans and cuts.

- Mac is shown playing games.

- Mac is shown trying on different clothing.

Scene 8

- The camera shows Mac standing over the stove in the kitchen.

- Mac turns around.

- Non-diegetic sound: upbeat music stops. 

- Diegetic sound: Mac yells to her mother. 

 Scene 9

- The camera is back on Mac with her homework at the table.

- The camera begins to zoom in on Mac.

- Diegetic sound: Mac speaks. 

 -Non- diegetic sound: upbeat music begins to play.

- Mac stands up from the table, packs her bag, and begins to walk away.  The camera cuts.

Scene 10

- Camera cuts to Mac leaving the house.

Scene 11

 Today I went over the footage that I have. Since all of the shots had more than one take I wanted to thoroughly analyze each one on their own. First I looked at each take separately. Then I looked at each take when compared to the others. After choosing the ones I personally felt were the best I went to my family to ask their opinion. After hearing what they had to say, I then went to a few of my peers to ask their thoughts. My plan was to obtain feedback in order to make a good decision on which takes I should upload into the editor. Since uploading the footage to the computer can be quite the process I wanted to be sure I would not have to go back and replace any clips with another. I figure if that were to happen it would make editing more tedious. After doing this I then proceeded to search alternative music options, as my attempts to get into contact with the artist of the music I originally wanted to use did not go as planned.  I have been working on the last tidbit of editing. An obstacle occurred when my editing software crashed. It refused to reopen so I had to seek other means of regaining the work I had already done. I had to completely switch over to a different computer and relocate my footage in order to begin editing again. Since the names of the files were different on each computer I had to refer back to the files on the first one in order to decide which one needed to be added into the locate asset slot on my reopened editing software. Some files were created while in the software. Due to this, when saved they were not compatible for opening on the other computer. Ultimately I had to recreate them. However, that took little time so I quickly was back at the point I had planned to continue from. All of them were strictly audio anyway. However, the software I am using got rid of a portion of the music I was using. Due to this I had to add it twice to make up for the lack of length that it once ...

  Props My main prop will be an unopened bottle of water. Other props that may be used are water. Costume I am debating on whether or not I would like to use an actor for at least one shot. If I do choose to use an actor then their costume will be simple. Shorts, t-shirt, running shoes,  or some other type of sports attire. However, if I do not then there would be no actor in my commercial and therefore no costume anyone needs to wear. Schedule On 10/22/20: I researched conventions and codes of bottled water commercials. On 10/23/20: I established props, costume, schedule, location list, and backup plan. On 10/25/2020: I will begin creating the storyboard for the commercial and it will be done by or before 10/27/20.
